ShuCODE

ShuCODE
A "new, freely shapable material" for expressing yourself as you wish.

"ShuCODE" is a new material, a cord that can be used like Mizuhiki, born from the development of various materials and products.
(*ShuCODE is a trademark of Y.R.T. Co., Ltd.)
Can be used even when immersed in water or liquids.
Traditional Mizuhiki is made by applying glue to a paper core and wrapping it with washi paper or thread.

On the other hand, ShuCODE's core is made of resin (polyethylene), and the wrapping thread is specially processed thread used for clothing (polyester, nylon, cupra, etc.). Therefore, it can be immersed in liquids like water or oil for extended periods, and can be used without worrying about it getting wet.
ShuCODE
Shape-retaining.
One of ShuCODE's strengths is its shape-retaining property, which prevents it from losing its shape not only in the air but also when immersed in liquids like water or oil.

The core is strong and durable, making it a suitable material for outdoor art displays and everyday goods.
Additionally, the core does not break (no pre-straightening required), allowing for corrections during the creative process.

On July 30, 2025, the U.S. government issued an executive order eliminating the de minimis exemption, which had previously allowed low-value imported goods to enter the United States duty-free. As a result, customs duties are now applied to parcels containing merchandise shipped to the U.S. as of August 29, 2025. In response to this regulatory change, Japan Post has suspended acceptance of EMS shipments (goods) and other mail items destined for the United States.

We have explored alternative shipping options; however, we have determined that it is not currently feasible to offer our customers a satisfactory service due to the complexity of the required procedures and the significantly higher shipping costs involved.

Therefore, we will be suspending all shipments to the United States until further notice.
We will announce any updates as soon as the situation improves. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
